I am a Ph.D. Candidate in philosophy at the University at Buffalo (SUNY). My primary areas of interest are social metaphysics, philosophy of AI, and applied ontology.
My doctoral dissertation offers a metaphysical account of financial transactions and assets (particularly money). This work is a first step towards the development of a computational ontology of finance compatible with Basic Formal Ontology (BFO), the upper-level ontology developed by Barry Smith and his associates.
I come from Italy, and I received my B.A. and M.A. at the University of Turin. I am a first-generation lyceum and college student.
When I do not do philosophy, I like cooking and working at crochet; I am fond of cats.
My preferred pronouns are she/her.
